Harry A. Lehmann

Harry A. Lehmann devoted thirty years of service to Bridgewater State College as a coach, athletic administrator and faculty person. During that time Harry Lehmann's name was synonymous with Bridgewater State Athletics. Coaching the Baseball team from 1958-1977, he led the team to one Southern New England Conference championship. During this period he was also Business Manager of the Athletics Department. From 1977 to 1983, Harry was the Director of Men's Athletics. During this time Harry not only carried out his AD duties with a "zest" for sports, but was also a faculty member in the physical education department. From 1983 to 1987 Harry concentrated on his teaching in the P.E. department, before his retirement in 1987. Over the next few years Harry continued his passion for athletics as an ECAC official football clock operator.

A long-time resident of Bridgewater, Harry passed away in 2006 at the age of 85.
