Charles Tobey

Chuck Tobey was a star guard on the BSC football team from 1972-75. He was selected their team captain in 1975. While at Bridgewater he started in 40 straight games for the Bears. He was named to the New England Football Conference all-star team in 1975 as well.

From 1984 through 2007, Chuck served as athletic director at the Gulliver Preparatory School in Miami, Florida. Under his leadership, Gulliver won 26 state championships in 10 different sports, as well as many regional and district championships.

Chuck went on to earn his Masters degree in Sports Administration in 1991 from St. Thomas University in Miami.

Chuck was inducted into the Gulliver Hall of Fame in 2010 as part of the inaugural class.

He, his wife Donna (Kane) '77 and two sons Michael and Timothy live in Miami, Florida.
