Women's Ice Hockey Atop the Adirondak Division

Bridgewater, MA –

The Bridgewater State University Women’s Ice Hockey Club Team sits atop the Adirondack Division of the Independent Women’s Club Hockey League (IWCHL) as the semester comes to a close. Head Coach Dan Norton has led the inaugural women’s club team to a 7-2 overall and league record. With both losses coming at home, against Curry College and the University of Maine. With one game remaining before the holiday break, the team will travel to MIT on Saturday for a 5pm puck drop.

Looking ahead to next semester, the Bear’s will host the team grabbing at their heels, UMass Lowell (7-1 league) on Saturday, January 20th at 5pm at Bridgewater Ice Arena. They will host their final home game the following Saturday January 26th at 1:30pm against neighboring Stonehill College. Playoffs will be slated to begin mid-February and the Bear’s are hoping to still be sitting at the top.
