The Bears finished their season in a close battle against Stonehill. Bridgewater fought hard and led for the majority of the game before letting up a late score and ultimately losing by a score of 31-26.
A 2-5 record does not do the Bears season justice as they suffered many injuries throughout the season but persevered, always giving a great effort in every match.
The Bears are excited to get back on the field for their 7?s season in the spring. They will be starting their practices in February and will play a wide variety of teams in some of the best college tournaments rugby has to offer. All are encouraged to come give rugby a try no matter your experience. The Bears had over 10 players this fall season with no prior rugby experience. We hope to see even more new players in the spring!
