BRIDGEWATER, Mass. – For the second straight week and eighth time over the past two seasons, Bridgewater State University junior Molly Rouillard has been selected as the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Women’s Cross Country Runner of the Week.

A native of Dartmouth, Massachusetts, Rouillard posted a sixth place individual finish for the Bears at the UMass Dartmouth Shriners Invitational with time of 18:38.34 over the five-kilometer layout.  She helped the BSU women’s cross country team earn a 23rd place showing in the team standings.

Last year during her rookie campaign of 2010, Rouillard captured MASCAC Runner of the Week honors six times and was named both the conference runner and rookie of the year.

This coming weekend, Rouillard and her teammates will compete at the Codfish Bowl Invitational hosted by UMass Boston.  The meet will take place at Franklin Park in Dorchester.
