BRUNSWICK, Maine -- Bridgewater State University junior Molly Rouillard placed 48th to lead the Bears at the NCAA Division III New England Women's Cross Country Championships held on the campus of Bowdoin College on Saturday.

Rouillard, who hails from Dartmouth, Massachusetts, covered the six-kilometer course in a time of 22:49.63. Bridgewater finished 29th overall in the team standings.

No. 3 nationally-ranked Middlebury College edged No. 1 Williams College for the women's team crown by just five points.

Williams' sophomore Chiara Del Piccolo won the women's race in a time of 20:52.43.

BSU senior Sarah Lagasse (Rehoboth, Mass.) was the next Bear across the finish line as she posted a time of 23:32.53 to finish 86th overall. Freshman Krysta Zbikowski (Ashburnham, Mass.) followed in 186th place (25:06.20).
