BRIDGEWATER, Mass. – For the sixth time this season, Bridgewater State University junior Molly Rouillard has been selected as the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Women’s Cross Country Runner of the Week.

Rouillard, who hails from Dartmouth, Massachusetts, posted the top individual MASCAC performance at the NCAA Division III New England Championships this past weekend at Mount Greylock High School in Williamstown.  She covered the 6k layout in a time of 24:24.3 to finish 71st at the regional championship meet.

The Bears’ women’s cross country team placed 20th in the team standings at the New England Championships.

Earlier this season, Rouillard captured the individual crown at the MASCAC Championship meet at Stanley Park in Westfield as she was selected as both the MASCAC Runner of the Year and Rookie of the Year.  She also earned All-New England Alliance honors with a seventh place finish at the Alliance Championships held at Moore State Park in Paxton.
