BRIDGEWATER, Mass. -- Bridgewater State University junior Molly Rouillard has been selected as the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Women’s Cross Country Co-Runner of the Week.  Rouillard shares the honor this week along with Framingham State freshman Katherine Anderson.

A native of Dartmouth, Massachusetts, Rouillard placed seventh at the season-opening Roger Williams Invitational on Saturday as she completed the 5k layout in 19 minutes and 49 seconds.

Competing in her first season on the cross country team, Rouillard was an outstanding track athlete at Dartmouth High School where she was an Old Colony League All-Star in both indoor and outdoor track as a junior and senior.  In 2008 during her senior season, Rouillard set the school record in the 400-meter dash with a time of 59.7 seconds.

Rouillard and the Bears’ cross country teams will head to the UMass Dartmouth Invitational on Saturday which is expected to get underway at 10:30 AM.
