WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. -- The Bridgewater State University women's cross country team placed 20th at the NCAA Division III New England Championships hosted by Williams College on Saturday at Mount Greylock High School.

Junior Molly Rouillard (Dartmouth, Mass.) paced the Bears as she covered the 6k layout in a time of 24:24.3 to finish in 71st place.  Next across the line for Bridgewater was junior Diana DeMont (West Springfield, Mass.) in 118th place (25:26.5).

Middlebury College won the team championship followed by host Williams in second place and Amherst College in third.  Williams' sophomore Jennifer Gossels won the individual title with a time of 21:42.7.
