WESTFIELD, Mass. -- Junior Molly Rouillard (Dartmouth, Mass.) posted a fifth place finish to lead the Bridgewater State University women's cross country team at the James Early Invitational on Saturday.

Rouillard covered the 5k layout in a time of 19:03.70. Junior Sarah Lagasse (Rehoboth, Mass.) was next across the line for the Bears in 27th place (20:04.67), followed by senior Jessica Eidinger (Sutton, Mass.) who finished 38th overall (20:18.18).

Vassar College captured the team title followed by Trinity College in second place and host Westfield State in third.  Bridgewater finished seventh in the team standings.

Junior Johanna Spangler of Vassar won the individual title with a time of 18:29.68.
