BRIDGEWATER, Mass. – For the second straight week and seventh time this season, Bridgewater State University graduate student Alexa Wilson has been selected as the Little East Conference (LEC) Women's Diver of the Week.

Wilson finished third in the one-meter diving competition in the Bears' meet against last week against Division II Bentley University. The Centerville, Massachusetts product posted a career-best score of 237.45 points in the event.

Wilson has reached the 200-point mark on the one-meter board for a six-dive event 12 times in her career including each of the Bears' first eight meets this season. Wilson's recorded her previous career-best one-meter mark of 223.90 points on January 28th against Babson College. She notched an 11-dive score of 335.50 points at the 2020 New England Intercollegiate Swimming & Diving Association (NEISDA) Championships to earn All-NEISDA honors.

The BSU women's swimming and diving team is back in action on Wednesday evening when the Bears host the BSU Fast Chance Meet at six o'clock.
