BRIDGEWATER, Mass. – For the sixth time this season, Bridgewater State University graduate student Alexa Wilson has been selected as the Little East Conference (LEC) Women's Diver of the Week.

A native of Centerville, Massachusetts, Wilson captured top honors in the one-meter diving competition with a career-best score of 223.90 points in the Bears’ 118-91 setback to Babson College.

Wilson has reached the 200-point mark on the one-meter board for a six-dive event 11 times in her career including each of the Bears' first seven meets this season. Wilson's recorded her previous career-best one-meter mark of 221.60 points this past December during the BSU Invitational. She notched an 11-dive score of 335.50 points at the 2020 New England Intercollegiate Swimming & Diving Association (NEISDA) Championships to earn All-NEISDA honors.

The BSU women's swimming and diving team is back in action on Tuesday evening when the Bears travel to Bentley University for a six o'clock meet with the Falcons.
