BRIDGEWATER, Mass. – For the fifth straight week, Bridgewater State University graduate student Alexa Wilson has been selected as the Little East Conference (LEC) Women's Diver of the Week.

A native of Centerville, Massachusetts, Wilson won the one-meter diving competition this past weekend at the BSU Invitational with a career-best score of 221.60 points as she helped the Bears post a first place finish at the eight-team meet.

Wilson has reached the 200-point mark on the one-meter board for a six-dive event ten times in her career including each of the Bears' first six meets this season. Wilson's recorded her previous career-best one-meter mark of 220.00 points on November 20th against UMass Dartmouth. She notched an 11-dive score of 335.50 points at the 2020 New England Intercollegiate Swimming & Diving Association (NEISDA) Championships to earn All-NEISDA honors.

The BSU swimming and diving teams are off until Saturday, January 8th when the Bears host a tri-meet with Trinity College and Wellesley College.
