BRIDGEWATER, Mass. – For the fourth straight week, Bridgewater State University graduate student Alexa Wilson has been selected as the Little East Conference (LEC) Women's Diver of the Week.

Wilson captured top honors on both the one-meter and three-meter diving boards in the Bears’ tri-meet with Wheaton College and Division II Stonehill College last week. The Centerville, Massachusetts native posted a score of 201.50 points on the one-meter board and 156.55 points on the three-meter. Later in the week, Wilson won the one-meter diving competition with a career-best score of 220.00 points in the Bears’ 98-47 victory over Little East foe UMass Dartmouth.

Wilson has reached the 200-point mark on the one-meter board for a six-dive event nine times in her career including each of the Bears' first five dual meets this season. Wilson's previous career-best one-meter mark of 216.50 points came in 2020 against Babson College. She notched an 11-dive score of 335.50 points later that season at the New England Intercollegiate Swimming & Diving Association (NEISDA) Championships to earn All-NEISDA honors.

The BSU women’s swimming & diving team will be back in the pool on Saturday, December 4th (noon) when the Bears host the BSU Invitational.
