BRIDGEWATER, Mass. – For the third straight week, Bridgewater State University graduate student Alexa Wilson has been selected as the Little East Conference (LEC) Women's Diver of the Week.

Wilson picked up a pair of diving victories in the Bears' 162-61 setback to Roger Williams University this past weekend. The Centerville, Massachusetts native placed first on the one-meter board with a season-best score of 214.70 points and posted a career-best score of 176.40 points to capture top honors on the three-meter board.

Wilson has reached the 200-point mark on the one-meter board for a six-dive event eight times in her career including each of the Bears' first three dual meets this season. Wilson set a career-best mark of 216.50 points in 2020 against Babson College. She notched an 11-dive score of 335.50 points later that season at the New England Intercollegiate Swimming & Diving Association (NEISDA) Championships to earn All-NEISDA honors.

The BSU women’s swimming & diving team will be back in the pool on Wednesday evening (6:00 PM) when the Bears host a tri-meet with Stonehill College and Wheaton College.
