Alexa Wilson Named Little East Women's Diver of the Week

BRIDGEWATER, Mass. – For the second straight week, Bridgewater State University graduate student Alexa Wilson has been selected as the Little East Conference (LEC) Women's Diver of the Week.

Wilson posted a score of 203.85 points to garner top honors in the one-meter diving competition to help lead the BSU women's swimming & diving team to a 149-95 victory over Gordon College this past weekend.

Wilson has reached the 200-point mark on the one-meter board for a six-dive event seven times in her career including each of the Bears' first two dual meets this season. The Centerville, Massachusetts product set a career-best mark of 216.50 points in 2020 against Babson College. She notched an 11-dive score of 335.50 points later that season at the New England Intercollegiate Swimming & Diving Association (NEISDA) Championships to earn All-NEISDA honors.

The BSU women’s swimming & diving team will be back in action on Saturday afternoon when the Bears entertain Roger Williams University at two o’clock.
