BRIDGEWATER, Mass. – Bridgewater State University graduate student Alexa Wilson has been selected as the Little East Conference (LEC) Women's Diver of the Week.

Wilson captured top honors in the one-meter diving competition with a score of 204.25 points this past weekend as the Bears opened the dual meet schedule with a 130-106 setback to Clark University.

Wilson’s six-dive score marked the fourth highest of her career. The Centerville, Massachusetts product set a career-best mark of 216.50 points in 2020 against Babson College. She notched an 11-dive score of 335.50 points later that season at the New England Intercollegiate Swimming & Diving Association (NEISDA) Championships to earn All-NEISDA honors.

The BSU women’s swimming & diving team will be back in action on Saturday afternoon when the Bears entertain Gordon College at two o’clock.
