WELLESLEY, Mass. -- Bridgewater State University graduate student Alexa Wilson (Centerville, Mass.) placed second in the three-meter diving competition on late Saturday afternoon at the 2022 Little East Conference (LEC) Women's Swimming & Diving Championships.

The three-meter diving portion of the four-day championship meet was held at Wellesley College.

Wilson posted an 11-dive score of 311.55 points as she finished behind Little East champion Kara Banagan of Westfield State University. Banagan recorded a score of 334.35 points.

Wilson was competing in an 11-dive event on the three-meter board for the first time in her career.

Wilson will compete in the one-meter diving competition at the Little East Championships on Sunday (preliminaries) and Monday (finals) at the Boston Sports Institute in Wellesley.
