BRIDGEWATER, Mass. -- The Bridgewater State University women's swimming & diving team hosted a tri-meet with Wheaton College and Division II Stonehill College on Wednesday evening at the Moriarty Pool.
The Bears (1-4) dropped a 162-68 decision to the Lyons (7-0) and a 120-98 decision to the Division II Skyhawks (4-2).
BSU grad student Alexa Wilson (Centerville, Mass.) won both diving events as she captured top honors on both the one-meter and three-meter boards. Wilson posted a score of 201.50 points on the one-meter and 156.55 points on the three-meter.
The Bears' foursome of seniors Jordyn Maxim (Lakeville, Mass.), Makayla Paquin (North Easton, Mass.), Danielle Vissering (North Andover, Mass.) and sophomore Olivia Ranck (Wilbraham, Mass.) recorded a time of 1:48.22 to finish second in the 200 freestyle relay.
The BSU women's swimming & diving team will be back in the pool on Saturday afternoon when the Bears host UMass Dartmouth at one o'clock.
