Wrestling

Rob Polin returned for his second stint as an assistant coach for the wrestling team in the fall of 2014. Previously Rob served as an assistant coach for two seasons from 2006 to 2008.

Polin was a standout wrestler at WPI in the late 1990's, earning a pair of All-New England honors for the Crimson and Gray.  In 1997 he earned the honor at 134 pounds before turning the trick a year later as a senior captain at 125 pounds. 

Polin served two different stints as an assistant coach at WPI and was also a co-head coach for the 2009-2010 campaign.

Rob also coached at the high school at both Randolph and Canton High Schools.  He helped Canton to three top-10 Massachusetts finishes, including third place in 2003.

A\ native of Randolph, Polin graduated from WPI in 1998 with a degree in Mechanical Engineering.  He is currently employed as an electrical engineer for Independent Electric Supply in Somerville.
