Edwin Morales joined the Bridgewater State wrestling coaching staff in the summer of 2023.

A 2023 graduate of BSU with a degree in criminal justice, Morales competed for the Bears for three seasons from 2019 to 2023. Morales produced an overall record 67-14 (.531) in three seasons in a BSU singlet with 24 pins, 136 takedowns, 158 near fall points, ten reversals and 63 escapes. He is tied for ninth all-time at Bridgewater State in pins and ranks 21st in wins.

A native of Philadelphi, Pennsylvania Morales garnered All-Northeast Region honors and quaified for the NCAA Division III Championships in each of his three seasons. He joined BSU Hall of Famers Craig Buckley and Frank Cammisa as the only wrestlers in program history to qualify three times.

Edwin is very involved in the Beat the Streets program in his hometown of Philadelphia as well as here in New England and was a featured speaker at a Beat the Streets event in New York City. He presently works in the admissions office at Bridgewater State.
