BRIDGEWATER, Mass. -- Bridgewater State University sophomore Malcolm Chrispin has been selected to the 2023-2024 New England Wrestling Association (NEWA) All-Rookie Team.

Chrispin went 21-10 (.677) in his first season of collegiate wrestling. The Hyde Park, Massachusetts native also recorded two pins, 57 takedowns, 79 near fall points and 15 escapes. His 79 near fall points were the most ever by a BSU rookie.

Chrispin, who led the Bears in wins, takedowns and near fall points, posted a 2-2 mark, including a win by fall, competing out of the 133-pound weight class at the NCAA Division III Northeast Regional Championships.
