BRIDGEWATER, Mass. -- For the second straight week, Bridgewater State University freshman attack Nina Liquori has been selected as the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Women's Lacrosse Rookie of the Week.

A native of Agawam, Massachusetts, Liquori tallied four goals and two assists for six points in a 1-1 week for the Bears to go along with four ground balls, three draw controls and four caused turnovers.

Liquori notched two goals, an assist, two ground balls, three draw controls and a pair of caused turnovers in a 16-11 win over the University of Southern Maine. She added two goals and an assist as well as two ground balls and two caused turnovers in a 17-8 setback to Wheaton College.

In seven games this season, Liquori has recorded 11 goals and three assists for 14 points to go along with eight ground balls, three draw controls and four caused turnovers. She is tied for eighth in the MASCAC in scoring and tied for tenth in goals. Liquori is also second in the conference with seven free position goals.

The BSU women's lacrosse team is currently 3-4 on the season. The Bears entertain Wellesley College on Wednesday night at seven.
