Kyleah Plumb (Taunton, Mass.) and Marcotte reached on infield hits and they advanced into scoring position on a sacrifice bunt by Savanah Dubois (New Bedford, Mass.).

An infield hit by Janet Jolly (Raynham, Mass.) tied the game and Schaefer delivered the game-winning run in walk-off fashion with a sacrifice fly to right, scoring Marcotte.

BSU jumped to a 2-0 lead in the first inning as it scored a pair of unearned runs.

Marcotte led with a bunt single and scored when Dubois reached on an error. With Dubois on second, Jolly struck out but reached on a passed ball, and Dubois scored on an error on the play.

St. Elizabeth got within 2-1 in the third as a groundout by Isabell Edwards brought in a run.
