NORTON, Mass. -- Bridgewater State University juniors Oliver Erickson (Mansfield, Mass.) and Jacob Belcher (Halifax, Mass.) competed on Saturday for the BSU men's indoor track & field team at the Wheaton Pre-Post Season Invitational.

Erickson captured top honors at the meet in the shot put with a toss of 45 feet, 6.25 inches (13.87m).

Belcher placed second in the weight throw with a distance of 45 feet, five inches (13.85m).

In upcoming action, qualifying members of the BSU men's track & field team will compete at the Division III New England Championships hosted by Middlebury College on Friday, February 25th and Saturday, February 26th.
