BRIDGEWATER, Mass. -- Top-seeded Bridgewater State University entertains #5 UMass Boston in the semfinal round of the 2024 Little East Conference Men's Tennis Tournament on Thursday afternoon at the Rosen Memorial Tennis Courts. The match is slated to get underway at three o'clock.

The Bears enter today's match with an overall record of 7-4 while the Beacons check in at 5-5 on the season.

Bridgewater has won each of the last three meetings between the two teams, including a 5-4 victory last Saturday, while UMass holds a slight 19-18 edge in the all-time series which dates back to 1985.

The Bears and the Beacons have met four times in the Little East Tournament. Bridgewater earned a 5-1 quarterfinal round win in 2009 as well as a 5-0 victory last season in the quarterfinals. UMass recorded a pair of semifinal round wins in 2013 (5-1) and 2017 (5-2).
