BRIDGEWATER, Mass. – For the second straight week, Bridgewater State University junior Emerson Kerns has been selected as the Little East Conference (LEC) Men's Diver and Rookie Diver of the Week.

A native of Norwood, Massachusetts, Kerns posted a score of 174.90 points to garner top honors in the one-meter diving competition to help lead the BSU men's swimming & diving team to a 162-42 victory over Gordon College this past weekend at the Moriarty Pool.

Kern's score on the one-meter board marked a personal best as he bettered his previous high of 172.55 points recorded on October 30th against Clark University.

The BSU men’s swimming & diving team will be back in action on Saturday afternoon when the Bears entertain Roger Williams University at two o’clock.
