BRIDGEWATER, Mass. -- For the second time this season, Bridgewater State University senior Joshua Hernandez has been selected as the Little East Conference (LEC) Men's Swimmer of the Week.

Hernandez placed second in both the 50 freestyle (22.55) and 100 freestyle (49.31) events in the Bears’ 120-89 setback to Babson College. The Cranston, Rhode Island product also swam a leg on the Bears' 200 freestyle relay squad which posted a time of 1:33.74.

Hernandez also earned the honor back on December 6th for his performance at the BSU Invitational.

The BSU men's swimming and diving team is back in action on Tuesday evening when the Bears travel to Bentley University for a six o'clock meet with the Falcons.
