BABSON PARK, Mass. – The visiting Bridgewater State University men's swimming & diving team dropped a 120-89 decision to Babson College on Friday night at the Elizabeth Morse Swimming Center.

The Bears (2-3) were competing in their first meet since December 4th.

Sophomore Connor Young (Chelmsford, Mass.) captured top honors in the 1,000 freestyle with a time of 11:27.24.

Senior Joshua Hernandez (Cranston, R.I.) placed second in both the 50 freestyle (22.55) and 100 freestyle (49.31) events, while junior Chris Anastasiades (Wakefield, Mass.) finished second in the 200 freestyle (1:51.00) and junior Luc Durand (Marblehead, Mass.) placed second in the 500 freestyle (5:16.35).

The BSU swimming and diving teams are back in action next Tuesday evening when the Bears travel to Division II Bentley University for a six o'clock meet with the Falcons.
