Men's Swimming & Diving Drops 168-33 Decision to Roger Williams

BRIDGEWATER, Mass. -- The Bridgewater State University women's swimming & diving team dropped a 168-33 decision to Roger Williams University on Saturday afternoon at the Moriarty Pool.

The visiting Hawks improve to 2-0 in dual meet competition on the season while the Bears slip to 2-1.

Bridgewater State junior Chris Anastasiades (Wakefield, Mass.) placed second in the 200 freestyle with a career-best time of 1:50.47. Anastasiades added a fourth place finish in the 200 butterfly (2:07.59) and swam a leg on the 400 medley relay squad (3:50.97) which also placed fourth.

The BSU swimming & diving teams are back in the pool on Wednesday evening when the Bears host a tri-meet with Stonehill College and Wheaton College.
