Sophomore midfielder Steven Lopez (Revere, Mass.) capped off the scoring in the 69th minute when he corralled a pass from junior defender Arnold Orellana (Everett, Mass.) and fired home a shot from six yards out.

Salem State dominated possession throughout the contest as the Vikings held a 27-6 shot advantage and a 12-0 edge in corner kicks attempts.

SSU junior goalkeeper Matt Hauntsman (Milford, N.H.) was forced to make just one save as he recorded his first shutout of the season.
