Robert Gardula

Robert Gardula (Class of 1960) was an outstanding basketball and soccer player during his days at Bridgewater State. In basketball, he averaged close to 18 points per game during his career. On the soccer field, he led the Bears in scoring in both his junior and senior years. During the spring he also participated in track and tennis.

Robert has served as a professor of Geography/Earth Science at Fitchburg State College since 1973. He received his Ph.D. from Clark University in 1975. He was the boys' soccer coach at Wachusett Regional high School from 1983-87 and was named the "Coach of the Year" for the Central Massachusetts Conference.
