Robert Colangeli was a relentless four-year starter at defensive tackle for the football Bears from 1978-1981. He was named to the NEFC All Conference team in 1980 and 1981 and to the ECAC All Star team in 1981. He was also the co-captain for the Bears in 1981. After graduating with honors and a stint on the Bourne High School football staff, Robert rejoined Bears as a defensive line coach (1984-85).

Today, Robert is president of Atticus Systems and Programming which specializes in systems management and software development. He has also found time to serve on the BSC Hall of Fame Committee as well as being a current member of the BSC Football Alumni Council.

He and his wife Maria '84 along with their three children now reside in Pembroke, MA where Robert is active in youth athletics.
