As a dominating pitcher, Kevin Cadres left a memorable mark at Bridgewater State College. Cadres, who played from 1998 to 2001, still holds BSC all-time records for earned run average (1.70) and strikeouts (257). He also set program single-season marks with seven complete games and 96 strikeouts during the 2001 campaign.

During his four year career, the Bears posted an overall record of 109-42-3 (.718).  Over that period, the baseball team advanced to the NCAA Division III Tournament in all four years and captured three Massachusetts State College Athletic Conference (MASCAC) titles (1998, 2000, 2001).

Cadres was named to the MASCAC All-Conference Team and American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) Division III All-New England Team for three straight seasons from 1999 to 2001.  He was also an ABCA/Rawlings Division III Second Team All-American in 2001, and played in the New England Intercollegiate Baseball Association (NEIBA) College All-Star Game in 2000 and 2001.

Cadres went on to pitch independent minor league baseball for the Brockton Rox of the Northern League. Most recently, Cadres has pitched for the Easton Huskies of the Cranberry League, where he helped lead the Huskies to three appearances in the Stan Musial World Series.

Kevin, who earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Management from BSC in 2002, presently resides in Billerica, Mass. with his wife, Desiree.
