Introducing your 2023 NCA D3 All-Girl National Champions!

BRIDGEWATER, Mass. --

Hard work pays off yet again for Bridgewater State Cheerleading Team who earned their 7th National Title.

The Bears captured the Intermediate Small Coed Division III national title with an impressive total score of 97.90 points at the 2023 National Cheerleaders Association (NCA) Collegiate National Championships in Daytona Beach, Florida.

Bridgewater's total of 97.90 points in the Intermediate Small Coed Division III competition marked the highest score for a BSU cheerleading team at the national championship meet under head coach Jason Manhart, surpassing last year's score of 97.37 points. The Bears also received the 4th highest score in the country out of over 500 college teams across Division I, Division IA, Division II, Division III, NAIA, and junior colleges.

This marks the seventh national championship for Bridgewater State cheerleading. The Bears captured the All-Girl Advanced title in 2011, 2014, 2019, 2021 and 2022, as well as the Intermediate Small Coed championship in 2021.

Huge thank you to our head coach Jason Manhart and assistant coaches Alexsandra Primiano, Lindsay Bettencourt, Erin Donahue, and Britney Devlin. In addition, we would like to thank our teammates, family and friends, and our home, Bridgewater State University, for the support and making this all possible. We would not be where we are without all of you.
