  • The Associate Director of Athletics and Recreation Operations oversees the Division of Campus Recreation consisting of Intramural Sports and Club Sports and Fitness.  As well as the Departments various athletic venues Game Management and Intercollegiate Scheduling and Transportation.

Glenn was hired as Associate Director of Athletics and Recreatons Operations in June 2002.  He was brought on to manage the newly built Adrian Tinsley Center as well as the rest of the departments athletic venues.  He also is responsible for overseeing the Campus Recreation Program, which involves Intramural and Club Sports and Fitness programming.  Over his tenure with BSU, he has been involved with the renovation of Swenson Field track and Turf.  As well as the Bear Paw Pavilion locker room project set to open Fall of 2020.

Prior to his return to Bridgewater State in 2002, Glenn was the Assistant Director of Recreational Sports Programs at Northeastern University in Boston, Mass.  He was hired at Northeastern in January of 1997 within the first year of operation of the newly built Marino Center.  Glenn's position began there as the Intramural Director and Evening Facility Supervisor.  Prior to Northeastern he worked for a short time with the Boys and Girls Clubs of Boston, Chelsea Club as the Athletic Director.

After graduating from Bridgewater in 1991 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Education, concentrating in coaching and recreation.  Glenn was hired after his internship at Stonehill College in North Easton, Ma as a Building Manager.  After a two years at Stonehill's Sally Blair Ames Sports complex he was promoted to Program Coordinator.  During that time he also managed Herman's Sporting Goods in Taunton, Mass. and spent six summers at Nobles Day Camp in Dedham, Mass.

Glenn has been very active in the National Intramural Recreational Sports Association (NIRSA) for the past 16 years.  He has served as Massachusetts State Director twice, presented at Regional Conferences and sat on the Nomination and Elections Committee.  He also presided on the 2000 NIRSA National Conference Host Committee, and in 2005 he chaired the Region 1 Host Committee, hosted in Providence, R.I.  In addition graduated from NIRSA Recreation Management School.

He resides in East Bridgewater, Mass. with his wife CC and their son Max and daughter Cami.  He is also a native islander of Martha’s Vineyard, Vineyard Haven Mass.
