Women's Swimming & Diving Falls to Bentley, 142-88

WALTHAM, Mass. -- The Bridgewater State University women's swimming & diving team dropped a 142-88 decision to Bentley University on Wednesday night at the Dana Center Pool.

The Bears fall to 5-5 in dual meet competition with the setback to the Division II Falcons.

Senior Haley Nolan (Lowell, Mass.) placed second in the 100 backstroke with a time of 1:05.17. Nolan also posted a third-place showing in the 1,000 freestyle with a season-best time of 11:37.43.

Junior Megan Bonney (Hoffman Estates, Ill.) finished third in the 50 freestyle (26.47), while junior Adi Tobias (North Attleboro, Mass.) placed third in the 100 breaststroke (1:18.66).

The Bears are back in action on Saturday, February 2nd when they travel to Babson College for a one o'clock meet with the Beavers.
