BRIDGEWATER, Mass. -- The Pilgrim Wrestling League has announced the recipients of the 2009 league awards. Bridgewater State College placed four different wrestlers on the first, second and honorable mention all-star teams as well as the scholar-athlete all-star team.
CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa -- Bridgewater State College junior Frank Cammisa was eliminated from the NCAA Division III Wrestling championships on Friday. Competing in the 149-pound weight class, Cammisa opened with a 15-3 loss to top-seeded Willy Holst of Augsburg. He then dropped a tough 2-1 decision to Tyler Branham of The College of New Jersey.
