BRIDGEWATER, Mass. -- For the third time this season, Bridgewater State University junior Trevor Wysong has been selected as the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) GEICO Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week. GEICO is the proud sponsor of the MASCAC weekly awards program.

Wysong placed seventh out of a field of 171 runners at the New England Intercollegiate Amateur Athletic Association (NEICAAA) Championships held at Franklin Park this past weekend. The Taunton, Massachusetts product covered the eight-kilometer course in a time of 25:11.21 as he also finished second among Division III harriers.

Wysong also earned the honor back on September 3rd and again on September 17th for his performances at the season-opening Roger Williams Invitational and the UMass Dartmouth Invitational. 

Next weekend, Wysong and his teammates will compete at the Western New England Invitational.
