BRIDGEWATER, Mass. – Bridgewater State University senior Alexander Belinsky has been selected as the New England Intercollegiate Swimming & Diving Association (NEISDA) Men’s Diver of the Week.

Last Saturday, Belinsky swept the diving events in a 184-107 win over visiting Clark University as he posted scores of 212.50 points on the one-meter board and a season-best 239.55 points on the three-meter.

Belinsky has continued his prowess on the diving board this week as he placed second in both diving events in a meet against Roger Williams University on Wednesday. Belinsky posted scores of 207.90 points on the one-meter board and 226.87 points on the three-meter. He was edged out by RWU senior Josh Seabrook (West Haven, Conn.) on the three-meter plank by just 1.28 points.

Belinsky and the BSU men’s swimming & diving team return to the pool on Saturday, November 17th at 1:00 PM when the Bears travel to Gordon College.
