Men’s Swimming & Diving Earns Five All-NEISDA Honors on Final Day of 2019 NEISDA Championships

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The Bridgewater State University men's swimming & diving team picked up five All-NEISDA accolades during the fourth and final day of the 2019 New England Intercollegiate Swimming & Diving Association (NEISDA) Championships on Sunday at the MIT Alumni Pool.

Junior Dylon Willis (Attleboro, Mass.) captured the meet title in the 200 breaststroke with a time of 2:06.54.

Seniors Alexander Belinsky (Norton, Mass.) and Jameson Rose (Somerset, Mass.), and juniors Sean Flaherty (North Andover, Mass.) and Timucin Marino (East Greenwich, R.I.) also garnered All-NEISDA honors for the Bears.

Belinsky placed third in the three-meter diving competition with a score of 353.75 points, while Rose finished third in the 200 butterfly (1:57.57), Flaherty third in the 50 backstroke (24.66) and Marino third in the 1,650 freestyle (17:07.87).

Bridgewater State produced 13 All-NEISDA performances during the four-day championship meet and won four individual events, three by Willis and one by Rose.

The Bears finished in third place in the team standings with 535 points.
