Christine Murphy joined the Bridgewater State equestrian coaching staff in the summer of 2019 and took over the head coaching duties during the spring 2020 semester. Christine is a 2019 graduate of Curry College where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in criminal justice and psychology. Christine also attended the Plymouth County Sheriff's Department Corrections Academy and was a member of the graduating class in 2011.
Christine is an accomplished competitive equestrian in hunter/jumper with over 28 years of experience.
A resident of Rochester, Massachusetts, Christine has worked as a corrections officer in the Norfolk County Sheriff's Office and a deputy sheriff in the Plymouth Country Sheriff's Department since 2011. She is a member of the National Criminal Justice Honors Society.
