The MASCAC weekly honor marks the seventh of Gilbreath’s career including six indoor distinctions. She was a two-time MASCAC champion in the shot put in 2017-2018, as well as the conference title holder in the weight throw (indoor) and hammer throw (outdoor).

Gilbreath captured the New England crown in the shot put at the Division III New England Outdoor Championships last spring and qualified for the 2018 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championships in the event. She also earned USTFCCCA All-New England honors in the shot put for both the 2017-2018 indoor and outdoor seasons.

Next weekend, qualifying members of the BSU women's indoor track & field team will compete at the Division III New England Championships hosted by Bowdoin College.
