Jayci Andrews to Compete for National Titles on Saturday

GENEVA, Ohio -- Bridgewater State University senior Jayci Andrews will compete for a pair of national titles on Saturday afternoon at the 2019 NCAA Division III Women's Outdoor Track & Field Championships held at the SPIRE Institute in Geneva, Ohio.

Andrews is in the finals of both the 100-meter hurdles and the 400-meter hurdles.

On Thursday, Andrews notched the second fastest time in the preliminaries of the 400 hurdles. She broke her own school record with a time of 1:00.08.

On Friday, Andrews placed first in the preliminaries of the 100 hurdles with a time of 13.87 seconds. She was just 1/100 of a second off her school record time of 13.86 seconds set earlier this month at the NEICAAA Championships.

The national championship meet is being streamed live on NCAA.com and live scoring is also available. The finals of the 100-meter hurdles will take place at approximatley 12:50 PM, while the finals of the 400-meter hurdles is slated to get underway at approximately 2:15 PM.
