BRIDGEWATER, Mass. -- For the sixth straight week and seventh time this season, Bridgewater State University freshman Tess Miller has been selected as the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Women's Indoor Track & Field Rookie of the Week.

Miller placed tenth in the 600-meter run with a time of 1:40.74 at the Division III New England Championships held this past weekend at MIT. The Uxbridge, Massachusetts product also ran a leg on the Bears’ 4x400-meter relay which finished 15th overall with a time of 4:15.30. 

Next weekend, qualifying members of the BSU women's indoor track & field team will compete at the New England Intercollegiate Amateur Athletic Association (NEICAAA) Championships which will take place at the Reggie Lewis Center.

Miller will be competing in the 4x400 at the NEICAAA Championships and potentially the 400.
