Ariele Krevosky Named MASCAC Women's Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week

BRIDGEWATER, Mass. -- For the second straight week, Bridgewater State University junior Ariele Krevosky has been selected as the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Women's Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week.

A native of Oxford, Massachusetts, Krevosky garnered All-ECAC honors and broke the Bears' program mark in the 100-meter hurdles at the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Division III Championships this past weekend at Springfield College.

Krevosky placed fifth in the event with a finals time of 15.05 seconds. She also posted a time of 14.75 seconds in the preliminaries to eclipse the school record of 14.80 seconds which was set by Terry Rush in 1982 and equaled by Krevosky last weekend at the NEICAAA Championships.

Krevosky earned MASCAC Track Athlete of the Week honors three times during the winter indoor season. During the indoor campaign, she broke the school 60-meter hurdles mark with a time of 9.22 seconds at the Division III New England Championships.
