BRIDGEWATER, Mass. -- For the second time this season, Bridgewater State College sophomore Julie Kraby has been named the Little East Conference (LEC) Women's Tennis Rookie of the Week.

Kraby, who hails from Wrentham, Massachusetts, remained unbeaten on the season as she went 3-0 last week in singles flight play and 2-0 in doubles.

Kraby won all three of her singles matches in straight sets against her opponents from Worcester State College, Roger Williams University and UMass Boston. Two of the wins came at the fifth flight and one at the sixth spot.  She also teamed with senior Catarina Rosa (Fall River, MA) to post third flight doubles wins against RWU and UMass.

The BSC women's tennis team is currently undefeated on the season with a perfect 8-0 record with a 3-0 mark in the Little East standings.  In the Bears' eight matches this season, Kraby is 8-0 in singles action and 4-0 in doubles.
