Ten Bears Named to NEISDA Fall All-Academic Team

BRIDGEWATER, Mass. -- Ten members of the Bridgewater State University men's and women's swimming & diving teams have garnered selection to the 2019-2020 New England Intercollegiate Swimming & Diving Association (NEISDA) Fall All-Academic Team.

In order for a swimmer or diver to be named to the NEISDA All-Academic Team, the student-athlete must have a semester (Fall 2019) GPA of 3.50 or better.

On the women's side, junior Katie Werra (East Taunton, Mass.) and sophomores Jordyn Maxim (Lakeville, Mass.), Gabriella Rivera (Hanover, Mass.) and Danielle Vissering (North Andover, Mass.) all collected the honor.

Senior Dylon Willis (Attleboro, Mass.), junior Casey Cross (Attleboro, Mass.) and freshmen Chris Anastasiades (Wakefield, Mass.), Talon Hayes (Framingham, Mass.), Thomas Scalese (Chelmsford, Mass.) and Amaan Shaikh (Billerica, Mass.) garnered all-academic accolades for the men's team.
