15 Bears Named to NEISDA Spring All-Academic Team

BRIDGEWATER, Mass. -- Fifteen members of the Bridgewater State University men's and women's swimming & diving teams have earned selection to the 2017-2018 New England Intercollegiate Swimming & Diving Association (NEISDA) Spring All-Academic Team.

In order for a swimmer or diver to make the NEISDA Spring All-Academic Team, the student-athlete must have a semester (spring 2018) grade point average of 3.50 or higher.

On the women's side, senior Katie Rogier (Hanover, Mass.); juniors Julia Gagne (South Hadley, Mass.), Laura Gaudette (Fall River, Mass.), Haleigh Kent (Marshfield, Mass.), Jennifer Marmion (Waltham, Mass.), Bridgette McGovern (Natick, Mass.), Picabo Miskiv (Centerville, Mass.) and Danielle Souza (Mansfield, Mass.); sophomores Jessica Costorf (Waltham, Mass.), Shea Puma (Leominster, Mass.) and Adi Tobias (North Attleboro, Mass.); and freshman Katherine Werra (East Taunton, Mass.) all collected the honor.

Junior Alexander Belinsky (Norton, Mass.), sophomore Dylon Willis (Attleboro, Mass.) and freshman Casey Cross (Attleboro, Mass.) garnered spring all-academic accolades for the men's team.
