BRIDGEWATER, Mass. -- The Bridgewater State University women's swimming & diving team competed at a tri-meet hosted by Keene State College on Saturday.
The Bears (4-7) lost to host Keene State, 178-47, and dropped a 157-77 decision to Brandeis University.
Junior Haley Nolan (Lowell, Mass.) placed second in the 1,000 freestyle (11:23.24) and third in the 500 freestyle (5:41.42).
The Bears 200 freestyle relay squad featuring junior Danielle Souza (Mansfield, Mass.), sophomore Mackenzie Coogan (Assonet, Mass.), senior Abbie Grant (Mansfield, Mass.) and Nolan finished second in the event with a time of 1:47.26.
Junior Kate Karl-Morin (Salem, Mass.) added a third-place showing in the one-meter diving competition with a score of 145.35 points.
In upcoming action, the Bears entertain Division II Bentley University on Wednesday evening at six.
